Emmerdale: Belle decides to face Tom
Over in the Dales, the Dingles’ week starts with devastating news: Tom King has been brutally attacked in prison and is fighting for his life. Then comes the confession that changes everything — Cain admits he ordered Samson to carry out the attack, and the fallout is immediate. Samson will not be coming home after all and could face a lengthy sentence, Sam goes for Cain, and the family tears itself apart.
In the middle of it all, Belle — terrified that Cain has handed her abuser an excuse to seek revenge — announces she is going to visit Tom in hospital herself, against everyone’s wishes. It is a huge, brave, frightening decision, and we have pulled the whole storyline apart in our full Belle and Tom spoiler piece. Coronation Street: Kit learns Bethany’s secret
On the cobbles, Kit Green‘s week is an emotional rollercoaster. Still undergoing chemotherapy, he collapses outside the tram stop and finally breaks down in front of Sarah, who begs him to move back in for good. But a trip to the hospital for a check-up puts him in exactly the wrong place at exactly the wrong time: leaving the maternity department, he spots Bethany Platt — Sarah’s daughter, and the secret mother of his unborn child — coming out of her baby scan with Ryan Connor.
Kit finally knows Bethany is pregnant. Whether he knows the baby is his is the question that will hang over the Street for weeks. We have the full story, beat by beat, in our Kit and Bethany spoiler piece.
Coronation Street: Debbie’s special episode
And if that was not enough, next week also brings a special episode built around Debbie Webster and her angels — Abi, Bernie, Christina, Sally and Glenda — as they build a photo book for Carl’s 40th birthday and a lifetime of memories, good and bad, comes flooding back. Then, later in the week, Debbie tells Ronnie she is ready to retire and has signed the hotel over to him, with Ryan Connor lined up as his right-hand man.
